WSDOT invites public to comment on State-Managed Airports Handbook at Copalis meeting


The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation is hosting a public meeting to receive input on the State-Managed Airports Handbook. The handbook, which is currently being developed, will document policies, performance measures, and guidelines for the maintenance and operation of the 17 state-managed airports.

What: State-Managed Airports Handbook Public Meeting

When: Tuesday, September 22, 2009 / 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

State-managed airports system
Key facts about Copalis Beach Airport
Development of the handbook
Draft guidelines
Through a facilitated discussion the public will be able to provide comment on the handbook and proposed guidelines pertaining to Copalis Beach State Airport or any of the other state-managed airports. This input will help to shape the draft handbook, which will be available for a 30-day public comment period beginning on September 22, 2009.
